Hi.. I am new to the group as well as a new Benz owner. I have a 2010 blutech R 350. It has been running fine. Yesterday the check engine light came on and so I went to the parts store to get them to read the code and it shows p229I. He said it was a MB code and he didn't know much about it, but it had something to do with the nox sensor. Anyone familiar with this? Just trying to do a little research before I take it to the dealership. Any and all help is appreciated. Also any maintence tips or suggestions are greatly welcomed..

I guess he just scribbled it down. Do you know what it means?

  4. It has to do with low pressure on the injectors.
    • Faulty Injector Control Pressure (ICP) sensor Injector Control
    • Pressure (ICP) sensor harness is open or shorted
I would get the injectors tested. Also you may want to change the fuel filter.

Thanks... Its not losing power or anything and so far is still running fine. So I'll change the filter and see what happens..
